Homeschooling dari Kacamata Pelaku

Sudah lama Donna ingin menuliskan tentang homeschoolingnya sendiri. Kenapa? Karena begitu banyak orang mempertanyakan, menggunjingkan, bertanya dari yang serius ingin tahu, sampai yang memojokkan dan tidak memberi kesempatan untuk menjawab sepatah kata pun. Jenis yang terakhir ini tidak ada yang berani bertanya sendiri kepada saya selaku orangtuanya. Hmmmm... maunya apa sih mereka ini, beraninya hanya pada anak kecil. Tapi itulah hidup, kita tidak selalu bertemu orang-orang yang "sehat mental spiritual"nya. Malah dengan demikian "sosialisasi" Donna malah lebih lengkap dari pada teman-teman sekolahnya yang relatif lebih "terproteksi" dan "seragam" lingkungan pergaulannya. Jadi bagi yang masih sinis mempertanyakan tentang sosialisasi dari anak saya ini, kayaknya saya boleh bilang, "Coba buka mata hati pikiran, tanyalah pada diri sendiri, sudah bergaul dengan berapa anak homeschooler sebelumnya sebelum membuat satu kesimpulan?"

Blognya Donna

Sudah sejak beberapa bulan lalu Donna memintaku mengajarinya cara membuat blog. Dia pingin punya blog sendiri. Janji demi janji, terkubur kesibukan ini itu yang tak ada habisnya.

Akhirnya setelah peristiwa aku dirawat di rumah sakit, aku tahu aku tak boleh menunda-nunda lagi. Aku harus bisa memilah mana yg first thing first.

Demikianlah akhirnya dengan segala keterbatasan pengetahuanku aku berhasil membantunya membuat blog sendiri yang lalu segera diisinya dengan penuh semangat. Ini dia blognya : Maria Donna Miranda.

Dunia di Mata Anak Usia 7 Tahun

Sudah lama Donna sangat ingin punya kamera sendiri. Akhirnya dua bulan lalu aku wariskan kamera pocketku padanya. Dan inilah selusin foto hasil jepretannya, disajikan tanpa edit (hanya kuperkecil resolusinya).

The Witch's Daughter

I read this book from here.

The story is very good.It is about the witch's daughter named Broccolina who wanted to be as pretty as an angel. The witch and her daughter were mean and ugly. One day the witch went to a faraway land and asked her daughter to stir the magic potion pot. Broccolina didn't like it and said it was not fair. When she was stirring the magic potion,one by one her mom's animal came and Broccolina hurt them. The parts of the animal that was being hurt,stuck on Broccolina's body. The angel who was on the way to the heaven,heard Broccolina's howling and came to see what's wrong. She said that there was no any beauty secret, but if Broccolina was good to the injured animals she would be as pretty as an angel,Broccolina did what the angel said and she became an angel.

Shoo Away My Anger

Yesterday I was mad to Math problem Solving. Because I did it with many errors. So I decided to stop for a while. I made a game board , I named it "Jumping Frog". First when I was colouring I still full with anger. Then I felt much better.
The green big frog was made by Jane my classmate. And the baby orange frog was made by my mum.
Do you want to know how to play it?
Press the frog and let it jump to the leaves until it reaches the finish line. Beware of the dangerous animals. If the frog being caught you must start over again.
After making this game I felt no more angry. I shoo away my anger.

The Biggest living Thing

This is a very good story about giant sequoias, they are big trees and very tall and beautiful.They grow in Sierra Nevada mountains in California. But they need not only water and sun to grow, they also need small fire. The small fire helps to clear the ground so the sequoias can grow bigger.

When Donna was 4 yrs old she said:"When I grow up I want to be a dentist".
The next year when she was 5 yrs old she wanted to be a teacher (Bahasa & Science teacher).
Now she's 6 yrs old, and she wants to be a writer & illustrator....:D

When I'm Not Feeling Well

I have been sick since last Thursday evening. I have to stay at home so I will not share the virus with my friends.
I played dressing-up my dolls with traditional costumes from some countries. Mum bought it a few months ago for me.

My Last Week Activities

I tried erhu, a Chinese musical instrument, in Bandung. It belongs to my cousin cici Alice. I love her....











It's Jacqueline's birthday party. She's my best friend. She's 6 years old.

Akhirnya "bisa kembali" menulis di blog.....:D
Iseng saya tawari Donna untuk "menulis" apa yang dia lakukan sore ini di blog ini dan dia bersemangat (padahal besok dia akan ada ulangan komputer....waduh ibunya terlalu semangat sampai lupa, maksudnya supaya masih "fresh" he he he).










I was collecting leaves and then rubbed my pencil on the paper with it under.

This afternoon I rode my bike with only one hand...yipee I can do it by my self, no one taught me...
